Protocol Overview

OTC Link ATS now offers RFQ (Request for Quote) functionality as a standard feature. This allows Link subscribers to gain access to requests for additional liquidity.

This technology is available:
via the OTC Dealer user interface and via Otavax protocol.

Access Greater Liquidity: OTC Dealer is utilized by the largest liquidity providers in OTC equity space. OTC Link RFQ subscribers can access multiple liquidity providers - creating competition among firms and ensuring best execution requirements are met.

Better Coverage: RFQ technology can be used to negotiate trades for all the ADR’s that trade on our platform as well as the complete set of over 12,000 OTC equity securities.

Cost Effective: Our pricing model is designed to be more competitive than other models, in fact it’s a fraction of what other firms charge for similar features.

Firms can access and negotiate trades utilizing RFQ in two ways:

• Available as a standard part of OTC Dealer
• Access via FIX protocol - allowing subscribers to integrate functionality directly into their proprietary applications
